RETREAT DETAILS

Young Living will cover the cost of your stay, including your return airfare, group airport transfers, hotel accommodations, specified retreat meals, branded retreat swag, retreat activities and ground transportation for retreat activities during the duration of the trip. Incidental costs, such as meals during travel, airline baggage fees, etc., will be covered at the attendee’s expense.

RETREAT INFORMATION & GUIDELINES

The all-expenses paid trip is offered to one person per Young Living account.
Retreat attendance is non-transferable and not redeemable for monetary or other compensation.
Any branded gear given to qualifiers is available only to those who attend the event.
At the time of attendance, the qualifying Brand Partner must have an active Young Living account and be in good standing with Young Living to attend any Young Living Silver Retreat.**
If a Brand Partner has newly qualified for the Silver Retreat, has an active Young Living account, and is in good standing with Young Living***, but is unable to attend the Silver Retreat they qualified for, they can request one deferral to attend the following year. All deferral requests will be reviewed and processed on a case-by-case basis depending on circumstances.

**An active Young Living account is determined by the local market’s policies and procedures. To be in good standing with Young Living, the account must pass a conduct review.
***To attend a Silver Retreat, the account must be active and in good standing at the time of attendance.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifiers may invite one qualified* guest to attend for a USD500 fee which includes: hotel accommodations, specified retreat meals, branded retreat swag, retreat activities, and ground transportation for retreat activities during the event. Qualifiers are responsible for booking their guest’s flight tickets. In addition to the USD500 attendee price, we have allowed qualifiers and their guests to book flights together. However, you must ensure you have paid the guest fee before booking flights.

Qualified guests:
Must be 18 years old or above to attend.
Young Living reserves the right to determine if a guest is allowed to attend any activities and/or trainings during the retreat.
Please note that only registered guests will be allowed to participate in the events at Silver Retreat. Unregistered guests will not be permitted to attend the events at Silver Retreat and will be kindly asked to excuse themselves from the activity or wait until the specific event has concluded.

Registration is expected to be available by the end of May 2024.

CHILDREN ACCOMPANYING QUALIFIERS

I. Young Living is a family company, and as such, we understand you may want to bring your children with you to the retreat. Please note that while this is allowed, Young Living will not provide activities, meals, housing, transportation, or daycare for children. Nursing infants are welcome to attend.

II. Qualifiers may bring a maximum of TWO (2) children between the ages of 0-11. In the event that you choose to bring children for the trip, arrangements for extra beds or additional rooms will be made, and any additional room surcharge will be the sole responsibility of the Qualifier.

III. If you plan to bring children, this needs to be communicated with your local office when flights are booked. Any attempt to include unregistered children in the trip, without prior notification and subsequent approval from your local office, may lead to their exclusion from accommodations and activities associated with the trip and incur additional charges to the Qualifier.

FLIGHT BOOKING AND EXTENSIONS

I. Once you have registered, your local team will reach out to book your flight. If you have paid and registered to bring a guest, you may also book their flight at the same time.

II. Self-booking of flights and accommodations for this trip without prior approval from your local Young Living office is strictly prohibited. Qualifiers who purchase their own airline tickets without obtaining prior approval from your local Young Living office will not be eligible for reimbursement.

III. All expenses incurred for travel between a Qualifier's residence and the departure airport are the sole responsibility of the Qualifier. This includes luggage fees and any other related expenses.

IV. Please be aware that the flight booking policy is to arrange travel for the Qualifier and their registered guest and children for the duration of the event, from November 15 – November 18, 2024. Any extension or deviation of the trip from these dates will be the sole responsibility of the Qualifier.

V. Airport transfers for those extending or deviating from the original flight schedule will not be provided by Young Living.

VI. Cancellation or no-shows after confirming flight and hotel arrangements will be considered as the trip is redeemed.

ACCOMMODATION

I. Young Living will cover the cost of your hotel stay in Okinawa, Japan during the trip dates of November 15 – November 18, 2024.

II. Young Living will provide shared hotel accommodation if you have a registered guest, with a maximum occupancy of 2 persons per room, along with daily breakfast for the duration of the trip. In the event that you bring children for the trip, arrangements for extra beds or additional rooms will be made, and any additional charges will be the sole responsibility of the Qualifier.

III. Qualifiers assume responsibility for any incidental charges associated with the hotel room, including but not limited to room service, mini bar, laundry, international calls, internet usage, and similar amenities.

IV. Any nights stayed outside the event dates of November 15 – November 18, 2024, will be at your own cost and based on availability at the hotel. Young Living will not cover additional expenses for early arrivals or late departures.

VISA

Qualifier and guest are responsible for securing their valid visa, along with fees, for travel to destination. For travelers requiring a visa to enter Japan, please reach out to your Young Living office for an invitation visa letter. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for Visa approval timelines with your local consulate office and the invitation visa letter does not guarantee you will be granted a visa.

JAPAN TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

I. Kindly ensure you have a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from your travel date.

II. Airlines and immigration authorities strongly discourage women in advance stages of pregnancy (6 months and beyond) from flying or entering certain countries. In some cases, flying is permitted in earlier stages of pregnancy (less than 6 months) if a written certification of fitness to travel is provided by a doctor. Please consult with your doctor before making any travel arrangements.

III. There is no Covid-19 vaccination requirement to enter Japan. Additionally, vaccination proof or pre-departure testing are no longer required either.

IV. Attendees will be expected to comply with any governmental restrictions and requirements. If you are uncomfortable with any restriction or requirement, we encourage you to reach out to your local market’s Sales team and let them know your reasons.

DATES & LOCATIONS

The retreat will be held in Okinawa Japan from November 15-18, 2024.

Only one member per account can attend and be paid for by Young Living, but you can bring a co-applicant or business partner as your qualified guest.

Young Living will not assume liability for additional charges incurred due to changes in flight plans that are beyond our control.

    TRANSPORTATION

    Please plan to arrive before 4 p.m. on November 15th, 2024 and to depart at any time on November 18th, 2024.

    Once you have registered, your local team will reach out to book your flight. If you have paid and registered to bring a guest, you may also book their flight at the same time.

    HOTEL INFORMATION

    Each qualifier will receive their own hotel room. If you are bringing a guest, you will be required to share a room with that guest.

    All attendees will be staying at either Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort or the DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort. Hotel assignments are carefully considered by our team, based on the operational requirements of the company. Hotel room information will be communicated to you within a few weeks of the retreat.

    You may not book your own hotel room during the event dates.

    Please be aware that the policy is to arrange travel for the Qualifier and their registered guest and children for the duration of the event, from November 15 – November 18, 2024. Any extension or deviation of the trip from these dates will be the sole responsibility of the Qualifier.
